Santa mayor drops dead less than four months after remarrying



The mayor of Santa, Kan Elroy Moses has died barely four months after remarrying the third wife. 

Elroy Moses who also doubles as the general overseer of the Bamenda-based Synagogue House of All Prayers collapsed and died last Friday September 15, few minutes after returning from sports. 

Before being rushed to the Holy Family Hospital mortuary Akum, where he took his last breath family sources said Mayor Kan Elroy Moses had just done his usual morning exercises when he succumbed to a stroke and was snatched away by the cold hands of death.

The passing on of the mayor fell like a bombshell in the town, leaving many in disbelief.


While medics are yet to determine the exact cause of his death, Kan Elroy who was also President of the regional chapter of the National Mayors gathering known as United Councils and Cities of Cameroon, UCCC was known by many as a hardworking, caring and loving being.

The Cameroon Watch gathered that the late mayor of Santa was in Bambui Thursday September 14, 2017, where he attended a seminar organized by the National Program for Participatory Development, PNDP, exclusively for mayors, secretary generals and treasurers of councils in the North West region of Cameroon.

The then general overseer of the Synagogue House of Prayers for All Nations, (SHOPAN) Kan Elroy Moses Payne leaves behind three children. 

Though he lost his first wife in 2015, the Municipal administrator in May 2017 got married to another wife.
 
He is the third councilor to have died in the last two years in the Santa Council after Alomba Alfred and Taniform Neeh Jacqueline who died in 2016 and 2017 respectively
